In 1997, when God called his servant Bishop Prince Osei Mensah, he saw a vision of a big tree with 12 branches. Each branch had a name symbolizing 12 Master keys, and God said to him, this is the mission I’m sending you to undertake: “I’ve seen my people being afflicted, battered, cheated and buffeted, therefore Go and use these 12 Master keys to free them”.
This is the commission of the Church:

- Peace
We believe that all these blessings would be yours with these three keys in place:
1) INFORMATION – Knowing that all these blessings are yours
2) REVELATION – Knowing what to do to get all these
3) IMPARTATION – Receiving the grace to do them
The History of International Life Gate Chapel (ILGC)
The founder of International Life Gate Chapel (ILGC) was born into Methodist church, which was the church of his parents. In 1985 he got born again in the church of Pentecost during one of their crusades in kwamang in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
He later moved to Accra, the capital of Ghana in 1991. In 1993, a lady approached him with her problem. The lady was suffering from epilepsy. The man of God went there with a friend, they prayed for the lady and she got delivered instantly, then they decided to put up a prayer group together for her to sustain her deliverance.
They started a prayer group under a mango tree at Burma Camp Barracks, Accra, Ghana. Within a short time, people started joining them, so they called the group ”Gethsemane Hour“.
Then in 1995, the man of God was fasting for two weeks and fell into a trance, and saw an open valley with so many people suffering, battered, afflicted, tormented, subjected and oppressed by the devil. He said, “as I was thinking, who will help this people, God spoke to me... in the beginning it was not so, but I’m sending you like I sent Moses to go and free them.”
“And I knew that God sent Moses with a rod, so I lifted up my hand to receive the rod and God said, ’I have put the rod in your mouth. I heard it from God before I saw it in the Bible that the rod is Jesus Christ according to Isaiah 11 and John 1.”
Then in 1997, God showed him a big tree with 12 branches and every branch has got a name, and God said build your ministry on these 12 branches, among the names he saw were Wisdom, Financial Prosperity, Protection, Holiness... and Successful Family Life.
In 1998 he went to word miracle church, whose presiding bishop is Charles Agyin Asare , was ministering, all of a sudden, he saw a crown coming out of his mouth the crown was going round in the temple and came and fixed on Rev. Osei Mensah’s head and he started sobbing uncontrollably. In the midst of that encounter, he heard a voice, I have spoken to my servant to ordain you, so go and speak to him. The man of God started International Life Gate Chapel in 1999 and he was ordained in 2001, by Bishop Charles Agyin Asare, just as God said.
